The movie is based on true-life
stories that involve of super natural or superstitious activities. The movie
begins when the Perron Family moved in to their new house and everyone is
extremely happy. However, their happiness is short lived when they find their dog
dead in the front lawn, while bruise marks appear on Carolyn (Taylor) everyday.
As the atmosphere turns the aura of fear lingers around the house. Thus,
paranormal investigator was invited to the house which Lorraine and Ed Warren
were asked to investigate the house and the occurrences of those paranormal
activities. An investigation has reveal that the previous tenants were all
death and the house has a very dark and dangerous past. The story of the movie
was intense as the story line is good. It really captures my attention although
I m not fan of horror movies. However, because of the phrase which is based on
true life story, it increases the thrill factor which makes the movie scarier.
